A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I was born and raised on a farm in Mexico, Missouri, where Ihelped with the family business until I graduated High School.
After becoming an architec t Imoved to North Carolina where I lived for 18 years, became a Certified General Contractor and owned a Design and Building Firm DA Taylor and Associates. After the economic collapse of 2007, I closed the business and decided to start looking for a more relaxed place and moved to the country of Mexico to the Puerto Vallarta area where I started Taylor'd Woodworks.
In 2020 I relocated my business to my hometown in Mid-Missouri to continue my passion , and am grateful for every day to be able to create works of art from customers’ beautiful ideas.
With such a legacy in the business, I understand that being a great craftsman requires time, patience, attention to detail, and quality materials. These ingredients go into every piece I craft, so everything is original and built to last the test of time.
